Suitable for occasional use

Lasted about a year. Each spring I fill about 12 floats, tubes, etc. for the pool. After the second swimmer it gets almost too hot to hold. And while it was hot you had to hold it in place to keep the adapters from flying off from the back pressure, they don't have a twist lock. I use it when the floats need refilling in the summer. It eventually got so hot that it melted the internal plastic fan on the motor splines when I used it that spring. It's pretty noisy, but not too bad. On the plus side, it fills up swimmers quickly, obviously it just isn't designed for frequent use. When disassembling, I noticed that the motor has bushings, which causes too much friction, since it is a very high speed (rotation) motor, the bearings will probably solve the high heat problem. Beware, there are many air pumps like this at Revain from different brands. I buy a more expensive pump with bearings to cover my needs.
