Not a bad replacement for a night table
Our bedroom just wasn't big enough for a king size platform bed AND nightstands. We have storage under the bed but a drawer wasn't a great place to charge a cell phone. The shelves seem fairly sturdy but we really only use them as a place to put our cell phones at night. The dark color went perfectly with our "espresso" platform bed.
