I have a rear facing Britax convertible which sits in the center seat. There were a few issues:(1) for rear facing the back flap that goes up the back of the seat keeps you from closing the click-tight bottom on the car seat. Can be solved by folding it down but was not ideal.(2) sitting in the center seat the side flaps covered where you insert the seatbelt for all three seatbelts. You could fold it over but was very difficult once installed.(3) perhaps because it was rear facing and in the center it made the car seat shift significantly - a very unsafe amount - compared to it not shifting at all without the protector underneath.Unfortunately we will be returning this.
