Some reviews mention it's low and they're right; that's why i wanted it. It's about the size of a regular Postnote and works great as a coffee spoon rest. I like that it has a notch in the middle where the handle of a spoon fits comfortably. I can't say I would use this on my stovetop unless it was for a small cookware or someone with limited space; But I'm happy with it for my intended use.
