have used them on several trips with no problems. Very cheap price compared to other brands and good build quality. To clean I usually just rinse it with water, open it fully by removing the plastic clip and unlatching the round lid. I then dry the insides as best I can with a paper towel, pop a plastic water bottle through the larger opening, and let it dry for a day or two (see image). Without inserting something separating the inner surfaces, it is very difficult to achieve complete drying of the inner surfaces. As for the hose, I would just spin it with all the valves open to let the water out as much as possible and then let it air dry. I don't find the cleaning kit that comes with this product (extra $) very helpful. A brush with a long cord can be used to clean the inside of the hose, but I don't use any of the other items in this kit.
