I was skeptical when I saw how thin these insoles are, but I'm impressed with them so far. I'm currently using them in a pair of casual slip-on shoes and a pair of Bearpaw knockoffs for when I take my dog outside. Both pairs of shoes were getting a bit painful to wear because the padding on the ball of foot and heel were getting thin. These insoles seemed to have fixed the issue and I hope they last for a while. I'm not sure how these would work for runners. They are definitely lightweight but I don't know if they could stand the wear and tear.The manufacturer definitely needs to offer these for U.S. sizes larger than 8. Also, I suggest using a different material because the beige material used makes them look a bit cheap. Maybe a colored material or a patterned material would help.These insoles are perfect for casual slip-on shoes; however, I don't know how well they'd work for people who need to be on their feet all day. Overall, I'm impressed by these insoles and will buy them again for my slip-on shoes and Bearpaw knockoffs.
