I've compared these binoculars to others at the same price and with the same features and it's great value for money. Pros: Clear, sharp image - Good in low light - Waterproof (many at this price point are only waterproof) - Wide focus range. I can focus to 15-20 feet - love how easy it is to remove and replace lens caps. Cons: - Heavier than my old binoculars. But to be honest they have more glass in their lenses - the tripod mount is pretty much useless with the included tripod. You cannot adjust the binoculars up or down with the mount. Best with a "real" tripod. Due to the size of the lens, people with closer set eyes (smaller people like my wife :-)) cannot assemble the lens to get a round image. All in all a great pair of binoculars.
