Incredible quality in this swimsuit that's well worth the price. It's very small and cramped for chubby kids. My 18 month old weighs 23 pounds and is 18-24 months old. The size was too small and tight around the stomach and hips, the length wouldn't last long either, we increased to 2T and it fit much better, still tight around the hips but better around the stomach. and the length was perfect. I would say they are best for skinny kids but don't be discouraged as going up the size might be worth it because they stretch well. The top coat is ideal for preventing painful sunburns.
