We then changed into the SUV, the Blizzak Spike-02. I generally enjoy Bridgestone and am pleased with the company's products based on my prior dealings. I researched Spike 02 extensively on forums and websites before deciding on their SUV version for SUVs. I believe that in order to support the weight, the sidewall was made a little tighter. For studded tires, it rides perfectly smoothly. Yes, it isn't a direct cheap alternative for rubber, but when I spend two lyamas on a car, that assertion seems absurd. BS is also a well-known brand, so there is some assurance of quality. We'll test in many environments, and I'll write in the spring.
