Description of Bridgestone Blizzak Spike-02 SUV 225/60 R18 104T winter

Bridgestone Blizzak Spike-02 SUV - studded tires designed for the winter season and the most difficult climatic conditions. . Its presentation on the market took place in 2017. Despite the fact that this is a new offer, SUV tires have already proved themselves well, being popular mainly in Eastern Europe. Characteristics of tires Bridgestone Blizzak Spike-02 SUV: powerful coupling and excellent braking properties, excellent cross-country ability. A distinctive feature is a modern, multifaceted anti-skid spike. Winter studded tire Bridgestone Blizzak Spike-02 SUV is an upgraded version of the model of the same name for passenger cars. Designed for crossovers and SUVs, it differs in other sizes and a modified frame adapted for use on vehicles with increased weight due to the all-wheel drive transmission. Winter optimized tread. The tire was developed for operation in difficult road conditions of the countries of Northern Europe and Russia. Most of the adaptation to them came in the design of the tread pattern. It features a V-shaped structure, which results in numerous very long gripping edges in the contact patch. They converge at an angle in the central part, which, on the one hand, provides excellent grip during longitudinal acceleration, and on the other hand, directional stability and control accuracy when maneuvering, especially on snowy and icy surfaces. Reliable grip on slippery surfaces. The tire tread remains very flexible at temperatures well below 0 degrees Celsius. This allows him to tightly fit even the smoothest road surface, clinging to the smallest bumps on the surface. As a result, ideal traction properties are ensured, both during thaws and in heavy ice. Oval spikes. Another distinctive feature of the tire is the stud design. It has an increased anchor area, thanks to which the steel element is securely held in the tread even under significant mechanical stress. In addition, its carbide insert features an ellipsoidal shape that results in a very long gripping edge. This feature provides excellent longitudinal grip on icy surfaces. The main features of the Bridgestone Blizzak Spike-02 SUV: — tread pattern with a V-shaped structure is optimized for winter roads; - stable behavior on slippery surfaces is provided by a rubber compound that is elastic at extremely low temperatures; — spikes with an oval carbide insert and an enlarged anchor improve traction on ice, are securely held in the tread under heavy load. You can buy Bridgestone tires in the Market-Shina online store of tires and rims. ru. The product is the most common, it could be worse.

Dunlops tested for 6 winters were not in the required sizes (perhaps due to geopolitics). The breeches do not inspire optimism in terms of height and sparsity of the tread, but we'll wait and see.

Pros
  • Made in Japan, which gives hope that the tires will not crack in a year, as happens with haka. And in general, bridgestone is doing well with wear resistance. Relatively quiet (relative to mud bighorns).
Cons
  • Compared to the earlier Dunlop winter ices, the blizzak are just road slicks. No height, no tread sparsity. However, judging by what is available - now all "suv" tires are like that.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not exactly what I wanted, but basically everything is fine.

Dunlops were not available in the necessary sizes despite being tested for six winters (perhaps due to geopolitics). The lack of height and tread density on the breeches does not bode well, but we shall see.

Pros
  • Made in Japan, so maybe the tires will last more than a year without splitting like haka. Wear resistance is another area in which Bridgestone excels. Unlike mud bighorns, they don't make a lot of noise.
Cons
  • When put next to the original Dunlop winter ices, blizzaks are nothing more than slicks on the road. Zero elevation and zero tread sparsity. From what I can see, though, that is now the standard for "suv" tires.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

A excellent value for the price; if it snowed, perhaps the review would have been different; I wore a different pair of shoes today, but kept the stud.

Pros
  • - My size (265/65/17) isn't too pricey. good road holding ability healthy proportions
Cons
  • St. Petersburg didn't have any snow this year, and 60 of the rubber spikes fell off, making the roads louder than usual.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The purchase brought only positive emotions.

The traction on ice and snow-covered humps was the same regardless of the spike count. There was no horrible noise that I could hear, even with all the plane trees around. The lateral wall is sturdy and unconcerned with road imperfections. For the third year in a row, I bought her a set of 215/65R16 Duster tires and drove her crazy.

Pros
  • Tacky and pliable.
Cons
  • It appeared at first that there were insufficient spikes.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nothing unusual, normal product.

Dunlops were not available in the necessary sizes despite being tested for six winters (perhaps due to geopolitics). We have reason to be pessimistic, given the breeches' lack of height and tread density, but we shall see.

Pros
  • Produced in Japan, consumers may rest assured that their tires won't split after a year like haka. Wear resistance is another area in which Bridgestone excels. Unlike mud bighorns, they don't make a lot of noise.
Cons
  • Blizzaks are only road slicks when compared to the previous Dunlop winter ices. Low profile, dense tread design. From what I can see, though, that is now the standard for "suv" tires.

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not quite what I wanted, but mostly okay.

Six winters of testing revealed that the necessary size Dunlops were not available (perhaps owing to geopolitical tensions). The lack of height and tread density on the breeches does not bode well, but we shall see.

Pros
  • Produced in Japan, consumers may rest assured that their tires won't split after a year like haka. Bridgestone is also doing well in terms of wear resistance. Unlike mud bighorns, they don't make a lot of noise.
Cons
  • When put next to the original Dunlop winter ices, blizzaks are nothing more than slicks on the road. Not tall, and not tread-bare. From what I can see, though, that is now the standard for "suv" tires.

Great product, best quality.

the Nissan Pathfinder R51 automobile. I looked everywhere, but the usual size 255/65 R17 was sold out everywhere, so I went with 265/65 R17 instead. As for the noise, it is present, but considering that studded tires often make more noise than other tires, this cannot be considered a drawback of the model. The advantages include assured stopping power on any terrain, thick sidewalls that offer protection from hernias and side cuts, and responsive steering. Reliable fixing of spikes; According…

Nothing special, there are positives and negatives.

The requisite sizes of the Dunlops tested over six winters were not available (perhaps owing to geopolitics). In terms of height and tread density, the breeches do not give cause for hope, but we'll have to wait and see.

Pros
  • Made in Japan, which raises hopes that they won't crack in a year like haka do. Bridgestone also performs well in terms of wear resistance in general. Quite quiet (compared to mud bighorns).
Cons
  • The blizzak are only road slicks in comparison to the older Dunlop winter ices. No height, no sparsity of tread. However, based on what is now on the market, all "suv" tires are now like that.

Well done Japs, they made excellent studded tires. I used to use competitors - I can tell everyone who complains about the noise that you are all whiners)) There is noticeably less noise, and the rubber will feel even stronger. On the mud, the test passed for five, we are waiting for real snowfalls.

Normal quality, you can use it.

Before you make a purchase, make sure you check the model year of the tire. Has some pros: There have been no complaints whatsoever regarding the quality of the things that Bridgestone provides; Bridgestone is Bridgestone. Its cons: Although in the yard it was 2022 and 45 weeks, rubber finally became stale after 2022 weeks. This was not mentioned anywhere at all.

I think I'll put it on the fifth season. I live in the Leningrad region, the use on snow / asphalt in the winter season is approximately 35/65 in favor of asphalt. With its pros: 10/16/2022 winter wheels Bridgestone blizzak spike-02 SUV 265/60 r18 114T TL XL Mileage - 197350. The cost of the kit is 40200. 29.03202222 winter wheels Bridgestone blizzak spike-02 SUV 265/60 r18 114T TL XL Mileage - 211031. Removed winter tires. Mileage on winter - 13681 km. (First season) 242022202222 winter tires

As such, there are no disadvantages, it is convenient to use.

I looked at these tires the month before last when a friend boasted while riding an RAF4. I gave it three weeks to think about it, and just before the holidays, I finally grew up and bought it. What can I say but fantastic. Definitely worth the cost is the price! I merely intend to drive primarily on snow and ice. It is obvious that brakes on asphalt are not as effective as on snow (clearly, bare tarmac is not a straight profile for studded tires). I'm very content!

Pros
  • They know about porridge and keep well on snow and ice. I'll cross my fingers that the deep-set spikes won't just come out.
Cons
  • I followed the advice, thus I haven't yet discovered any drawbacks (I'm not sure if there are any or not).

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

These tires will last for another three winters. While Shipov did experience a loss of 10-15%, he saw no other obvious signs of exploitation. No hernias, and no weak sidewalls. They don't float when reconstructed, and they don't drag the car along the track. Moves through snowdrifts without becoming stuck or spinning out of control. Naturally, the spikes are loud, but I find that I can relax more easily on them than on quieter frictions. If you're looking for tires in this pricing range, look…

Pros
  • excellent traction and durability for any surface
Cons
  • noisy

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

We then changed into the SUV, the Blizzak Spike-02. I generally enjoy Bridgestone and am pleased with the company's products based on my prior dealings. I researched Spike 02 extensively on forums and websites before deciding on their SUV version for SUVs. I believe that in order to support the weight, the sidewall was made a little tighter. For studded tires, it rides perfectly smoothly. Yes, it isn't a direct cheap alternative for rubber, but when I spend two lyamas on a car, that assertion…

Pros
  • permeability, rubber density
Cons
  • till I can come up with a comprehensible name

Best I have ever used, great product for anyone!

The breeches deserve praise for designing and producing the amazing Spike-02 for Jeeps. I do a lot of driving in an area where the roads are, shall we say, less than ideal, but the tires handle it just well. Several times I intentionally flew into such gaps in the ground, and each time I emerged unscathed. That means the tread is spotless, another detail I value. Not without the noise, though)) It's quiet as a whisper in the snow, but there's a low rumble in the background where the asphalt has

Pros
  • High-strength Tires That Can Take It
Cons
  • loud, and which ones with spikes are the quietest?

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best thing I have ever used, highly recommended!

At the age of 16, I purchased a 12-year-old Nissan Qashqai. The sidewall of this tire had previously been patched once. This fall I realized the tread was thin and started being more cautious than normal while driving. A couple of weeks ago, I took a drive on the 2.5t highway, drove normally, and then accidentally fell into a hole on the way back. I didn't think anything of it and continued on to my home, 60 kilometers away around the rear rim. A twisted disk was the culprit. changed, got…

Pros
  • Inexpensive and long-lasting rubber. The studs are quite useful and do not fall out of the wheel well.
Cons
  • Aside from the bruises and cuts, there is also a painful side area.

Thanks to the good feedback, the tires performed better than I anticipated on dry roads in late October. They are noisier than summer ones, and that is the one downside. Not essential but discernible. Then comes winter, complete with snow and ice, but the tires never fail. They ride bravely through snow and ice that I would never dare to cross! I have no trouble parking in the city, however I have frequently witnessed drivers pulling into parking spaces. The tires do not lose traction when the…

Pros
  • Give feedback and adjust to any conditions.
Cons
  • Asphalt noise is audible.

I definitely do not advise buying, the product disappointed.

Pros: Purchased for the 2022 Sorento 3.5L. People left positive reviews, so I reasoned that the Japanese shouldn't falter. They brought it, but the condition of the spikes (some are within the tire, others are not totally twisted, etc.) did not instantly inspire trust. slowed down with assurance before going to Michelin. I have a hard time driving. I began reading from the side because it was unclear when it was made, and when I saw the inscription "Made in 2022," I immediately felt duped. For…

The best thing for the money, Im glad I chose this option.

After purchasing brand new snow tires for my shoes, I realized that this would be a fantastic opportunity to discuss them on this forum. I enjoy writing about products that are excellent but have received few evaluations because this makes me feel valuable))) Everyone who drives a big automobile should consider purchasing this model. I not only have the fact that the pepelats itself weighs normally, but also that we drive with a full load (children, a dog, the entirety of the trunk's contents).

Pros
  • Yes, I am pleased with everything, and the value for the money is fantastic. The elasticity of the rubber is precisely where it should be.
Cons
  • cannot name at this time
