"Morty" as we call him has become our 5 month old's best friend. I introduced him to her when she was a newborn and hung it on a mobile above her swing and she looked at his black and white patterned legs. This helped her keep track of the movement from the start. Then, as she grew a little and learned to reach for things, she was drawn to his perky feet, especially the one with the bell. Now, when she's teething, she often chews on his horns and erupting "back rings". She also finds his soft fur very calming and often hides her face in it when she's upset. This is an amazing toy in every way, as simple as it looks and I will definitely be buying this for everyone I know who is having a baby in the future. Bonus: Moose is my favorite animal, so I'm so glad she loves him so much!
