I gave up on metal marking pencils and really don't need the accuracy of a scribe and thought I'd give these a try. I was NOT disappointed. They work great leave lines that are easy to see and dries very quickly. If you need a very thin line then use a scribe. These work best for marking steel for cutting where you have a little (maybe a 32nd inch) tolerance. If you need more accuracy than that a scribe, as mentioned, may be a better option. But for most of us that cut and weld steel or other metals in a ranch environment doing repairs and fabrication these are great. I also like that you can see the marks through my welding hood before it auto dims. Nice product and a fair price. Thanks!
