Review on Stone Cottage Mosaic Comforter White by Katresa Jones

Nice details - blankets and sets

The piping is a nice touch but the material feels a little flimsy. My duvet is plain white, so I had no problem with the pattern showing through, but if it was a white damask stripe on white, would you? Probably no. The material has a nice sheen and is a silky polyester fabric that was full of static electricity when opened, but that doesn't seem to be an issue when I put my comforter in and leave it on the bed for a while. I use it during the Christmas/Winter season with red buffalo check flannel sheets, Christmas themed throw pillows and a green sherpa plaid bedspread at the end of the bed. Accent Colors/Pillows/Throws. Whatever you choose, compare the size of the duvet insert to the measurements of the duvet. Not all queens are created equal. My inner quilt is a bit smaller compared to my comforter, so there is a small gap at one end. This duvet has drawstrings that can be attached to the duvet. Unfortunately I don't have loops to attach them. I paid $46 at the time of purchase and it seems well worth it. UPDATE: July 2020 Having owned this device for a couple of years now I have to say that my thoughts have improved on my first impressions. The tucks on the duvet held up well, although I didn't have to wash a ton of them. The duvet's thinness doesn't seem to have affected its performance. It's very neat and I love the neutral but textured canvas it presents. It's easy to change up the look with a few pillows or a new set of linens.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
