It works, but not as well as I had hoped.

I bought this while making my own trinket box out of a converted first aid kit. The gaps between where you should place the studs don't create enough tension to hold a large number of earrings in place. I have to keep them spaced apart so there is enough tension around them so they don't fall out. Mine is pinned so I'm not sure how good it would be in a travel situation. If I have trouble keeping my earrings in place without a lot of movement like travel I can't imagine or recommend this would be a good product for keeping your jewelry in place and organized with a lot of movement.
