I wasn't sure if I should buy this product - complaints about smells, roughness etc got me thinking, especially considering the price. However, I am happy to report that I was not wrong in purchasing these sponges. The fact that they are made in the USA also influenced my decision. I found them to be neither too rough nor too soft; They're thinner than I expected, but they clean my face just as well as thicker sponges. You won't get any complaints from me. I have used washcloths, washcloths etc and the APPEARUS natural cellulose facial sponge has done its job as well as others and even better than some. What I particularly find these sponges to be better than any other is how quickly they rinse off soap and how quickly they dry. So yes, I would buy them again.
