Purchased to wall mount a 32 inch flat screen TV. I was able to install it myself. The mounting kit was heavier than the TV itself! The wall bracket is fixed with 3 screws at equal intervals. The bracket that attaches to the back of the TV is used to attach the TV to the wall bracket. The top hole is U-shaped, allowing the TV to stay in the groove while the bottom screw is tightened. If this top hole weren't designed that way, someone else would have to hold the TV for both screws to be installed. Buy the same brand again to install the TV in a different room.
