My 10 year old cat literally died because she couldn't eat and was too weak to drink. She was given palliative care like a hospice, but I didn't want her to starve. I was looking for a high calorie and nutritious cat supplement that would require the least amount to fill the diet. I stumbled across this and decided to give it a try. My cat was so ill that I had to give her an injection, but she tolerated it and of course it was enough for her to gain weight and strength and eat as well as possible again. It turns out she has Horner's syndrome and half her face is paralyzed. Without her she would have died. I am so thankful that I found this product. Oh, by the way, there's enough product in the pack to feed a whole herd of cats, and the price is pretty affordable (it's actually a very handy giant syringe, making access to the product easy and mess-free). I still give her some every few days because it keeps her coat nice and shiny and soft. She's still adjusting and will hopefully continue to get better, but to be honest she didn't stand a chance without this product.
