Does what it promises at a good price.

Works great until it breaks. However, the company was very responsive and even offered a replacement! We used this to block the front door leading out of the pantry onto a 3 foot drop into our gym. For the future: if you need to rotate the canister, do not unscrew the screw all the way; This messed up my product and caused the coil inside to come loose. The canister appears to be removable in order to replace it with another; Just be careful when you unscrew it and how that affects the guarantees the company might offer.
