Great controls. You sculpt it in the spirit of the Xbox 360 controller, but once you get your hands on it you realize it has its own uniqueness and Nintendo charm. First, it's REALLY EASY. As there is no rumble/vibration function, there is no such motor either, which greatly reduces the weight - UPDATE: I hadn't played a game that used the rumble function prior to this review, but now I understand that it really is. Vibration motor that makes the light weight even more incredible. Second, the haptic feedback from the buttons and analog sticks is also light. It has that light, unique Nintendo feel, just like the controllers of the past. Third, willy-nilly, the "trigger" buttons don't have the "squeeze" feel of an Xbox trigger. On the Wii U Pro controller, it's more of a click. After all, as the name suggests, this is the exact same controller as the US version, only this one is $10 cheaper. The only compromise is that the documentation is obviously in Japanese. If you are unfamiliar, to sync/register a controller with the Wii U system, simply power on the Wii U first. Then press the Sync button on the Wii U and then the Sync button on the Wii U PRO controller . . FULLY RECOMMENDED!
