The sample wiper sent for testing arrived with the clear packaging all torn up. However the wiper and mounting adapter were unscratched and in fine condition. A testament to how well made these are, perhaps. The wiper blade comes protected with a white hard plastic sheath over it to protect it until it is installed. I've had similar silicon wipers installed on one of our vehicles for over 5 years now, and they are still as good as the day purchased. The remain flexible and pliable for many years with excellent resistance to UV rays, water, ice and temperature extremes. These wipers are not cheap but will likely outlast 10 regular rubber versions all while providing a quieter and superior performance. I would recommend these. Reduce throw away disposable waste in the process too. 5 stars.
