I love this company too. Your equipment is durable, interchangeable and versatile. I made the mistake of buying a different brand "detachable" strap with a shoulder/neck loop and was disappointed because after disconnecting the shoulder piece you were left with two unconnectable connectors. Shoulder strap have a male and female connector in a short loop. This is ideal for attaching to your backpack to keep things handy, or simply removing a camera strap that would otherwise blow in the wind when using the camera on a tripod. In fact, this particular component - the loops of the Uni-Adapter - can form a short loop itself. For added security, I clip my "short strap" (like the uni adapter loops) to my backpack while carrying the camera on a tripod. . Never had failures with OpTech equipment. You can add them to Secure-It for more security (which you don't need), but Secure It can serve a different purpose. it is velcro. so that you can attach light things to the seat belt, which has the appropriate Velcro. And you can use it as velcro. However, I find that one of my items was very difficult to get through the Secure It strap. Also great stuff.
