This is an OEM part for the 1NZ-FE engine and when it comes to something as important as a cooling system you should ALWAYS use the OEM part. This applies to the water pump, but also to the hoses, thermostat, seals and ESPECIALLY THE COOLANT! Always use the coolant recommended by the manufacturer. At $22 a gallon at the dealership, Toyota Pink Super Long Life coolant is only a few dollars more than the multi-purpose coolant sold at chain parts stores. Is the engine filled with sludge from competing coolants? $1,500 plus a lifetime of leaking gaskets and failing peripheral components like the heater core and radiator. Honda gets Honda coolant. Toyota receives Toyota coolant. Nissans get Nissan coolant. Do not take any risks. If you race, mix 50/50 premixed coolant with distilled water and replace the thermostat with a performance thermostat. If you still get too hot, add an extra cooler. Do not use dietary supplements. Do not use "race coolants". You will regret it. That's about 70% of the retail price, but slightly more than eBay. In my experience you get what you pay for when you buy eBay parts without the reliability and customer service of Revain. It's worth the extra coin for that reason alone.
