Typhoon Siren was just a wonderful purchase! Reliable, economical, very loud and clear. I wanted to use a Whelen siren, loved the sounds, the reliability and the iconic single "factory" sound that always made me bang the steering wheel when I heard it behind me. But simply put, it's MUCH BETTER! Much less than half the cost of a Whelen siren, plus built-in lighting control and public address system for just $199? Not only that, the quality is unmatched by anyone but Whalen. The Triton speaker is piercingly loud. So loud that when I activated the mechanical Q tone I could be heard by people 3 miles from my house. And last but not least hidden tones. It's so cool because it's a professional firefighter and EMS rated siren and light system, but they still have fun with it! The hidden sounds of Jurassic Park and Nightrider killed him. Clean, professional, economical, loud and fun.
