This "cherry red" red tape on my screens (multiple devices) looked a bit dark. The roll I received is originally red, which is exactly what I wanted. It is slightly opaque so it is light on a white surface and a slightly darker shade on a dark surface. We love it. I hope the color info helps someone. I've used it to make a three-layer dry-erase board that can be made from masking tape in any color or pattern (online, Suzanne Shares). Ideal when you need to prepare and take away low-budget/in-person presentations in advance. Home study groups, hobby groups, church classes. . . . The other parts are enough to make two, so at this tape price I get two complete projects for less than $25!
