Review on RAX Men'S Lightweight Backpacking Hiking Boots by Maurice Cunha

Revainrating 5 out of 5

NOT too good to be true

For the price, I assumed these would be a temporary measure, since quality hiking boots usually range in the hundreds, dollar-wise. I stand EXTREMELY corrected; these bad boys withstood five straight weeks hiking, climbing and mucking their way through some of Colorado's most unforgiving terrain and elements without so much as a tear in the fabrics (which are very supportive, well put together, and comfortable) or any breaks in the sole. The laces can loosen up a little; but if you double-knot them, it's a non-existent issue. The grip and traction they provide is ridiculous and saved me a ton of energy on several very steep hikes. I'd buy these again in a heartbeat. Very good arch support, not to mention the ankles. Virtually no break-in period required.

Pros
  • Ideal for any skill level, whether a beginner or experienced hiker
Cons
  • No removable insole for customization
