I mainly use my microphone to talk to my friends via Discord. The Link Dream mic definitely has better audio quality than the one connected to my HyperX headset; It's cleaner and the sound is clearer. However, the microphone needs to be fairly close or it will sound very quiet to others on the phone. A distance of 15-20cm is recommended, but I would say you need to be even closer. I don't have a very loud voice on the phone, so yours may be different. The recorded audio for podcasts or other solo recordings (not a call) is very good and has no problems with silence. very easy and the drivers are loaded automatically and quickly. Something to consider is desktop space. This microphone comes on a simple tripod. It's not overly large, but depending on where the keyboard/mouse/mousepad etc are placed, it can be difficult to find a place to mount the mic without it getting in the way. Also, the cord is about 5 feet long (a rough measure), so think about how far it can reach, too. Overall a good mic for the price and I will be using it for recording more than online calls.
