I bought this brake bleeder for my RV7 experimental aircraft which is fitted with Matco master cylinders. I found it impossible to bleed all the air from the lines by squeezing on the brake fluid reservoir and loosening the bleed screws on the calipers. Before purchasing this boost I tried many different procedures but also failed. It wasn't until I bled the brakes from below and connected the bleed to the calipers that I was able to completely remove the air from the brake system. lines. This is logical, because air always wants to rise. So the procedure is: connect the bleeder to the caliper bleed screw, connect a clear hose and a drain bottle to the brake fluid reservoir (otherwise you will make a mess). Place a container under the caliper bleed screw, open the caliper bleed screw 1/2 turn and bleed the caliper. Because the line is open, you get up to 5 psi of pressure. Keep an eye on the pipe at the top and eventually no more air will be visible. Check the brake lines in the cab to make sure they are clean too, then close the bleed screw. Check the brake pedal and you'll find that it's rock solid. Repeat on the other side.
