I have not yet used them to dry my minivan or 12 person van. It's winter now and I don't like washing cars when it's cold outside :) However I have 2 toddlers who just got a sink toy that pumps water with a recirculation faucet. One of them is less than 2 years old so he fills little glasses and pours them from the sink onto the counter. Enter those microfiber towels! They're big enough for two of them to fit under a small toy sink, and then stick out the sides far enough to catch the contents of molded-in water cups. In the end all the water left the sink and ended up in the towels. No leakage. Even picking up the towels after playing I had enough suction left over to wipe down the other parts of the counter. And they didn't drip when I put them in the wash. These rags mean serious business. They hold lots of water. They are big but still soft enough to use with my little boys. They're a little pricey, but they're worth it for big jobs!
