After purchasing and returning another rotator as it was too small in diameter to fit the steering wheel on my Cub Cadet mower, I ordered this one. It doesn't work without a rubber insert. However, since the handlebars were already covered in rubber, I used a vise to close the fastener and keep the holes aligned while I inserted the bolt, inserted the small rubber lockwasher, and tightened the nut. I tightened the nut with a 9/16 socket after removing the vise. I decided to set the knob to the 2 o'clock position for my right hand as my left was temporarily immobilized. I'll see how well it performs and handles the load. I hope this helps me keep mowing the lawn with one hand.
