While setting up my budget home theater I thought about building my own screen. After discovering this product I decided to follow the drop down screen route. The picture quality is very good. I've added some photos and videos for your reference. I tested in low light and brighter conditions. In general very satisfied. Installation is easy. I used concrete anchors to attach them to the wall without incident. In hindsight, I wish I had been given ceiling anchors so I didn't have to drill the foundation. The biggest problem with drop down screens is flex. I left the screen hanging for a few days hoping it would work on its own. It has a distinct V shape. In the bottom center you can see a slight distortion of the image. One side suggested direct sunlight. Others have suggested covering the back of the screen with a towel and drying it with a hair dryer on low heat. My solution was to purchase 3M Command picture hanging strips. I was planning on leaving the screen off all the time anyway. With them I was able to create enough tension to smooth out most wrinkles. Again, for the money this is a good product. Just make sure you have the right expectations.
