Terrible quality when buying the last two Rowenta irons

Terrible quality when buying the last two Rowenta irons. I bought this product to replace another Rowenta iron which broke down within 1 year of purchase. This unit failed 1 month after the warranty expired. Both devices were made in Germany, so I figured I'd avoid Chinese quality issues by buying a product designed and made in Germany. Rowenta doesn't seem to be a feature anymore - look elsewhere for your iron, or keep a spare one handy.
