I needed replacement fans for my laptop. The 40mm USB fans were too small, revved too high and made too much noise. So I wanted to buy these 60mm fans which looked very similar in the pictures. However, I didn't expect them to be so thick! While 40mm fans are 10mm thick, they are 25mm thick. They are too thick to fit under my laptop! They also offer less airflow than the small fans they replace. But they are much quieter! So if you want to mount them under the laptop bag you can use the legs (the laptop will be tilted.
