Review on YARA by Evan Roberts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

We were asked to create a solution that would allow our partners to make decisions about their customers, sponsors and attendees.

Our partners, who run events worldwide, asked us to find an AI solution that would help them make decisions about their customers, sponsors and attendees. Our goal was to automate as much as possible, allowing human beings to focus on delivering a great experience. They're right: this is something that people want. They see value in automation. I spent two weeks with YARA trying to figure out if they could help me solve my problem. We found out that they don't really fit into any existing category (and I mean this literally). They are really a unique service. YARA has two parts. First, YARA comes to you and asks you a series of questions related to your business, your event, your attendees, etc. It takes care of every aspect of the registration, so you only need to worry about the content. Then, when the event is over, YARA creates a report about each attendee. You can see exactly who came to your event, how many people attended, where they came from, why they left, and other information that will help you identify potential problems in your next event. You can share the report with your partners. If they decide to buy the service, they can pay monthly.

Pros
  • We wanted to automate as much as possible, allowing human beings to focus on delivering a great experience.
  • Just point our API to the endpoint and we got the job done.
Cons
  • The only way to improve your reports is by changing the endpoints.
  • We did not test it.
