Great option. The dealer wanted $300 for a replacement key, Ace replaced it for $200. After buying two of these I had to call everyone but found a place to cut keys for $6 a key. My original keys fell apart so badly that it was pretty easy to pull the circuit board out. It's a little difficult to put it in the new case and get the battery to touch the terminals. But some tape to hold it in place while I snap the lid on, and now I have two new working keys for $14 each. Unless your current dongle is completely falling apart I can see where some work might be needed to get the board out without damaging it but other than that and making sure the battery connectors are in the right place, pretty easy and inexpensive solution.
