I am a professional mechanic and value quality tools and equipment in my job. I installed a new car radio in my car and wanted a good solid connection in my wiring without soldering every connection. I ordered a set of 120 and a crimping tool for these amazing heat shrink connectors. I like that you understand wire insulation. Some twisting and trimming of the leading edge of the wire was required to get the 14 gauge wire into the small connector, but it was done to color code my connections for positive and negative. I wonder if they can be gold plated?
