I bought this for the price thinking it was expensive enough to work well, but cheap enough that if it broke I wouldn't be bothered or fails. Both the sound quality and the microphone quality are excellent. It arrived half charged, I charged it fully and ran for 13 hours with no issues and still have plenty of charge left. Never had connection problems, after a one-time pairing, the speaker is able to recognize my phone and connects immediately after turning it on. Songs can be skipped or played straight through the speaker, so you don't have to fiddle with your phone too much when you're out on the water with it. This thing spent 8 hours playing non-stop in the sun by the Sako River. Dropped in water a few times but continued to work with no issues (you may need to shake off excess water) but overall I feel like I got more than my money's worth. I personally didn't like the way it hung from the included carabiner so I replaced it with a cord and clip.
