The functional part of this mirrored triangular prism is 10 mm long, 5 mm wide and deep. Remember I paid $40 for this artist. Tool. It's fun to play with and can help get accurate proportions and perspective, but for most things I can do it faster by hand. Not sure what I would do to improve it, maybe a bigger prism would be good, maybe twice the current size. Even if you remove the prism, it will no longer be held in place. The prism is not held in place mechanically. I had to use Elmer's school glue to get it back in place. So, This would definitely be the first place I would improve the design. The prism must be held in place by mechanical means so that it can be replaced, cleaned or otherwise carried out. The prism shouldn't be held in place with double-sided rubber band, it's just cheap and lazy.
