I bought this for my rainbow aquarium which is in the early stages of development. It is very powerful, I have a standard sized 75 gallon tank. The blue color isn't perfect but I think it works in my blue background tank and shouldn't be as noticeable once my plants are grown. The magnet is very strong, at first I thought I was missing a magnet as I was having trouble separating it. I like that the impeller is well sealed in the housing, I have a couple of young pandagars that I was concerned about getting into the impeller and injuring themselves, I had a small char before that narrowly escaped death this way escaped. This is set to the strongest setting and you can adjust it by moving the slider on the blue body. I'm happy with it so far. I will update if problems arise.
