Review on GTEK F2465P Frameless DisplayPort Monitor: 1920X1080P, 165Hz, Swivel & Tilt Adjustment, Blue Light Filter by Phil Gardner

**Updated 4/3/2022** The replacement came very quickly, I installed it a few days ago and have been using it ever since. No problem. I'm very satisfied. I have decided to replace another monitor with the same monitor and have already received a second monitor. I found something interesting that I think deserves a mention: to take full advantage of this monitor, you need to use a DisplayPort cable (they provide one) to connect it to your computer. Originally I connected my first monitor to HDMI 2.0 and Windows only allowed 144Hz. Since I had a second monitor and my graphics card only had 2 HDMI ports, I hooked up a dual monitor with DP and found to my pleasant surprise that I could run at 165Hz. Needless to say I replaced the HDMI cable with DP and now have 2 beautiful 165Hz HDR monitors and am absolutely blown away. I will be buying a third one as soon as funds allow! **Updated March 25, 2022** I'm disappointed to note that 3 pixels have either failed since my original post or I just didn't realize they had failed. originally. I have requested a monitor replacement and my rating is based on the second monitor being perfect to admit I have had an issue on occasion. Before purchasing this monitor, I read many reviews that didn't mention bad picture quality etc. Three stuck pixels isn't a terrible sign, but it's a disappointment nonetheless, which I hope is just an accident. Definitely going to give the second monitor a thorough test when it arrives in a few days to see if it's perfect. If not, I'll send them both back and find a new monitor. I really hope that's not the case, otherwise the picture quality would be just stunning. **Original Review** I have a 3060TI and am amazed at the quality of this monitor. HDR to boot! Oily smooth look. I just can't believe the quality matches the price. For an entry-level gaming monitor, this is a steal to me. I'm seriously considering buying another one right now while I'm writing this review, it's so great. The only thing I can think of is a *slight* downside to where they placed the VESA mount points as they don't mount in the center of the screen. If you have other monitors where the mounting point is centered and your stand is fixed, like mine, and you can't adjust the height of the monitors, only the spacing, you might be a little disappointed. But then again. This is when you choose to install it and have other monitors as part of your setup. If you buy multiple copies of this monitor, I think you'll be fine. Other than that, this monitor is amazing. What a find!
