I initially ordered two of these, and one came DOA, the other, the battery won't charge. The battery issue doesn't bother me as I will never use it as a portable monitor and am too scared to replace it as the DOA block replacement was also DOA. I have requested a refund from Revain for the DOA device. Working device: You must have a Display Link-enabled device to use a USB-C cable, and as far as I can tell, it's not Thunderbolt 3. I didn't test HDMI because I don't like the mini-HDMI trust spec. so I don't have any cables/adapters. Touch works only when the device is connected to USB-C via USB-C and when the device is the primary monitor. This is a limitation of the Display Link software, not a display issue. I would advise buyers to steer clear of this technology until the industry corrects its mistakes. Link to the display and questionable tech on a good day, so it's not the best option for the everyday driver. If you don't mind extra cables you can use the HDMI option, but then you lose touch functionality and in my experience mini-HDMI cables often fail.
