I bought this to replace the MBAC16 USB Shield which didn't work with my Raspberry Pi 4. This AOC 16T2, which uses a power adapter and micro HDMI output, works well with my Raspberry Pi 4 (no touch capability). I like it in principle, but I'll probably return it if I can't fix my battery drain issue. When connected to my laptop, it doesn't consume its own power. I can't figure out how to get it to run on its own battery instead of draining my laptop and their instructions aren't clear if this is even possible. Not sure what the point of the internal battery is when using laptop power.

The touchscreen capabilities are good, my laptop has the same and I'm used to reaching out and clicking to scroll. The manufacturer asked for a serial number and told us that it was a major overhaul and would void the warranty. This has been going on for months and no one has refunded a previously damaged item sold here as new.

As many users have had connection issues with their laptops, yes I am having the same issue but I am finding a way that you can still use this article so you should first check if your laptop has a Thunderbolt connection, not a normal type - c connection, secondly, if not, you can buy a micro hdmi to hdmi cable and plug it into your laptop and it will work. I am very disappointed that the cable to connect my laptop is on the same side as the profile/vertical length stand. This means the tablet is useless to me when I need to view a long spreadsheet or document as the screen needs to be laid out horizontally. The battery won't charge through my laptop either. Very disappointed, the functionality is half what I thought it would be.

Every time I plug it in I have to hold down the power button for 10 seconds for it to turn on. The picture then gets darker and lighter and often a black screen appears when I'm in the middle of a job. I like the size and it's easy to fit in my backpack with my travel laptop, but the functionality is very disappointing. . would not recommend

It was a great monitor until it became one. It took a full 5 seconds to turn off the device which was fine but this was used at work where I had to store it when not in use. A week later I came back and couldn't start it. The battery appeared to be empty, but was not charged. Since the battery was dead, I couldn't just power it via USB either. Unfortunately, it is too late for a return.
