It suits me. He does what he says. There were no instructions with the product. It is a one-piece construction made of white plastic. It doesn't cut food, it holds it in place, fixes it in place and gives you the teeth to guide you in cutting. It doesn't offer multiple styles and one size. Not very enthusiastic about this product but it really works. So far I have chopped tomatoes, boiled eggs, orange and potatoes. The slicer worked well with boiled egg and tomatoes, but worked well with orange and horribly with potatoes. Many of the items used did not allow the knife to fully go through. If you need instructions for slicing tomatoes and boiled eggs, this is for you. I received the product for free in exchange for my unbiased opinion.
