Review on APC Protector SurgeArrest Essential PE76 by Tim Beardsley

Revainrating 1 out of 5

high quality and features you cannot find in other surge protectors in the same price range

Not all surge protectors are created equal, especially when compared in a similar price range. its price range is undeniable! WHAT I LIKE (compared to my other Belkin surge protector): [+] Nicely and securely packaged in the box [+] Build and quality feels solid and sturdy [+] 6ft cord that feels more flexible and manageable feels when you don't need full length [+] Space-saving 90-degree low-profile connector[+] 1 dedicated jack for adapter box or bulky electronic connector[+] Holes on back for wall mounting![+] Peace of mind WHAT I DON'T LIKE[ - ] As mentioned by other reviewers, the bottom light seems to be broken, but for me that's not a factor as long as the protection indicator works[-] It would be nice to add 1 or 2 USB ports, but that will probably increase the price. so that's not a problem for me either, don't know why, but it's so hard to find a surge protector strip with keyholes on the back these days. I remember the days when all extension cords had locking holes on the back so you could wall mount it or attach it to something so it wouldn't move when you plugged and unplugged it. This APC surge protector is $3 more expensive than the comparable Belkin model, but you get a lot more features and better quality for that price difference, but the biggest difference is the peace of mind. Conclusion: 5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended.
