These pads are exactly as described. My helmet is very comfortable again. These pads are much thicker than OEM pads but are the best choice to replace worn pads. If your helmet is tight or you don't have a lot of room to loosen your ratchet, I'd recommend being a little careful. I had some room to extricate myself and my helmet still fits perfectly. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the shipping costs. I don't agree that a person should pay more than five dollars shipping for something that comes in a lightweight envelope.
