Not a Great Wrench But Worth the Money

Not sure what some of the reviewers expected to get when spending $13 for a pipe wrench. I admit I was a little concerned since some reviews noted the wrench not even opening up, but I figured I could just return it if that happened, but.I had no such issues.I only needed this wrench for one job - to tighten some pipe fitting on an air compressor I purchased used and the pipe wrenches I have are too big to fit the space, so I really did not want to $20+ on a top-of-the-line model. This wrench did the job nicely. It is solid, heavy and well made for the price. Is it real smooth to open and close.well no it's a little rough around the edges to be sure and if you are a serious tool guy this is probably not the right pipe wrench to buy. But if you just need one for a project now and then this wrench will do nicely and will probably last a long time.I suspect there are some QC issues based on other reviews, but as long as you know that going in and are okay with returning it if necessary, I have no issue recommending this wrench. It's a good wrench for the price.

Pros
  • Perfect handy little pipe wrench
Cons
  • The durability of the wrench may decline over time with frequent use
