Review on ๐Ÿ›ต Budge Medium Standard Scooter Cover - Waterproof, Durable & Universally Fit (SC-5) by Ernest Duckett

water resistant but that's the only thing i really like about it

2 year old update: I was a few months away from 2 years of use and this coating eventually started to crack. Black has long turned gray, and now the fabric begins to crumble, "cracksโ€ appear, into which you can easily poke your finger. (I think 2 years is decent while the flimsy silver ones only lasted me about 9 months.) I'm attaching a photo of the faded/cracked cover. It appears to be fairly waterproof but that's the only thing I like about it. The elastic around the bottom is too tight/durable and it "rolls" very tightly around the bike making this bag difficult to put on. and even harder to remove (compared to other cases I've had). When it collects on the ground, it builds up so much that it actually forms a "bowl-shaped" area that collects water when it rains (which then gets onto your bike when you remove the cover - the opposite of so to speak Have a dry bike to sit on!) Also, all seams are taped inside with some sort of plastic/rubber tape. but this tape started peeling off after a few weeks and then these loops of 1/2 tape remained inside on the mirrors/steering wheel/etc. hang when you tried to remove the cover. Very annoying. In the end I cut off the elastic (so the bottom doesn't stretch anymore) and removed the seam tape (maybe my seams aren't waterproof now?). This negates some of the lid's characteristics, but is certainly less frustrating than what came from the factory.
