Hello, I have a lot of CAT6 cables that I collect and I don't like that they get tangled so easily. And don't pull too hard or the "spread clip" will pull on the connector (and possibly break). These protective plugs protect the RJ45 plugs very well when the cables are not in use. They have perfect tactile feel (they "click" in) and fit perfectly/tightly into the RJ45 jack. Great product and highly recommended :-)
