I received the sheets yesterday and immediately sent them to the laundry. Well washed. As you can see from the photos, the pockets are quite deep, covering both my 18 inch deep mattress and my very large box spring to the floor (my box spring sits right on the floor). My husband and I. Agree, they are very soft and comfortable. I didn't notice any overheating last night but I live in Michigan and it's still 50 degrees during the day. Let's see in the summer. The only disappointment is the color. I ordered "Burgundy" hoping it would match the crimson theme of my bedspread. Unfortunately, they are much closer to brown. Not bad, but be aware that there may be a difference between what it looks like on your monitor and what it actually looks like. We'll see how they hold up with the next wash. I've seen others complain about the sheets stretching and tearing over time. Yes, they're thin, but no thinner than most sheets in this price range. Update: I've had the sheets for a few months now and they are holding up well. E-Wash as other reviewers have said. In fact, they have retained their color and shape well. They're still comfortable and will keep you cool in the summer. I would recommend them. Update 2: I've owned them for a few years now. After all this time, they curl up and become a little less comfortable, but they haven't lost weight. Overall not a bad buy. I would take her again.
