Over a year ago I had an accident with a broken leg and heel bone. After 3 surgeries and in the process of healing, I had the most swelling in the ankle area. I wore compression stockings up to the knee, but by the time I got home from work, the ankle was already swelling enough. I was shopping for a long time before I came across these socks. I actually made my purchase based on the reviews they had and I have to say I couldn't be happier that I bought them. After wearing socks for a week I noticed such a big difference in swelling.
