Rare defective whistle

Typically excellent whistle. I immediately ordered a second one as a replacement. Unfortunately, when I was ready to use the new one, I found that the whistle end didn't work. There is a small pea shaped ball in there but it must be deformed or there is a problem with the chamber as it catches and makes almost no noise. It's bad if my dog is trained to respond to commands depending on which end I use. I tried contacting the company through Revain for an exchange and no refund and have had no response.
